Software Engineer - Train IT Rolling Stock System

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Passenger Information System (PIS) team, focusing on train IT rolling stock solutions. You will work on real‑time passenger information applications that improve travel experiences across multiple transport modes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based real‑time information systems for rolling stock.
• Upgrade the existing Java 8 platform to the latest Java version.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and produce technical documentation.
• Manage tasks using Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track and prioritize work, adjust plans based on feedback, and collaborate with global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Experience with SIP protocol, GStreamer and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English communication.
