Software Engineer - Mobile App Development

About the role

YouTrip is looking for a passionate Mobile Engineer to design, build and maintain high‑performance cross‑platform applications using Flutter. You will work closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to deliver features that delight millions of users across Asia‑Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Flutter applications for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers and backend teams to implement high‑quality features.
• Optimize app performance, conduct profiling and perform code reviews.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues and integration challenges with APIs and native modules.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, widget, integration) to ensure reliability.
• Develop hybrid modules that integrate Flutter with native Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) components.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Flutter, Dart and mobile ecosystem advancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional mobile app development experience.
• Proven experience building production‑grade apps with Flutter.
• Strong proficiency in Dart and solid experience with Swift and/or Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of mobile architectures, hybrid integration and design patterns such as BLoC, Provider or MVVM.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile.
