About the role
Google is looking for a Software Engineer III to join its Mobile (Android) team. You will develop high‑impact Android applications, collaborate across product groups, and help shape the future of Google’s mobile ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Write production‑grade code for Android products and services.
- Lead or participate in design reviews, evaluating technology choices with peers and stakeholders.
- Review and provide feedback on code to ensure style, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Maintain and improve documentation and educational content as products evolve.
- Triage, debug, and resolve product or system issues, assessing impact on hardware, network, and service quality.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Kotlin or Java.
- Minimum 2 years of Android application development experience.
- Experience with data‑analytics tools or pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
