About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain mission‑critical communication software. You will work on tools that enable 3GPP standard compliance for unified communication products and collaborate with global partners and customers.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain C/C++ software for Windows and Linux/Unix platforms.
Integrate software and hardware components to ensure system throughput and consistency.
Create and validate technical documentation and user guides.
Implement end‑to‑end use cases for Mission Critical Voice, Data, and Video services.

Required profile

4–8 years of hands‑on C/C++ development experience on Windows or Linux/Unix.
Strong knowledge of compile/build tools in both environments.
Familiarity with WPF, HTTP, ECC, OIDC, XML, JSON, and version control (GitHub).
Understanding of VoIP, video streaming fundamentals, and multithreaded application design.
Basic knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SSL, and NAT/Firewall.
Ability to work flexible hours overlapping with US and UK/Europe time zones.
