Software Engineer – Ecommerce (SFCC)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and customise both backend and frontend components of our enterprise ecommerce platform on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) using SFRA. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions that support our luxury retail business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ISML templates, cartridges, jobs, services, Page Designer slots and Business Manager configurations.
• Implement full‑stack functionality with JavaScript, Node.js and REST/GraphQL APIs across the ecommerce ecosystem.
• Ensure code quality through unit and functional testing, code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
• Support deployment, production issue resolution and release reliability using CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage Claude Code for AI‑assisted development to accelerate coding and review.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience building enterprise ecommerce solutions, including headless and service‑based architectures.
• SFCC Developer Certificate and experience with pod migrations and platform maintenance.
• Strong understanding of SFCC concepts such as catalogs, products, promotions, customer groups and JSON APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, delivery and agile configuration management.
