Software Engineer – C++/Python (Autonomy Simulation)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong C++ and Python expertise to join the Simulation Platform team in Bengaluru. You will help design and build the core simulator architecture that powers autonomous‑driving, robotics and other physical‑AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance simulation components in C++ and Python.
• Create and evolve design documentation for complex software systems.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and end‑users to gather feedback and iterate on features.
• Ensure robustness, performance, and technical accuracy of the simulation platform.
• Contribute to product road‑maps and help ship simulation‑based solutions for multiple autonomy domains.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience shipping complex software in C++ and/or Python.
• Proven ability to produce clear design documents and balance speed with quality.
• Experience with simulation, physical modeling, or robotics middleware (e.g., ROS) is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to take ownership of technical decisions.
• Mentoring experience is a plus but not required.
