Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance ASP.NET/C# and SQL Server systems, ensuring reliability through debugging, documentation, and automated testing.
• Design and deliver cloud‑native C#/.NET microservices on Azure using RESTful APIs, event‑driven patterns, and domain‑driven design.
• Bridge legacy and modern architectures, enabling smooth data flow and transition to microservices.
• Champion quality with test‑driven development, automated test suites, code reviews, refactoring and AI‑powered development tools.
• Collaborate with product and cross‑functional teams to translate feature “why” into valuable customer solutions.
• Continuously improve architecture, processes, and mentor teammates in modern engineering practices.

Required profile

• Strong TDD discipline and deep expertise in C#/.NET and database development.
• Proven experience with microservices, event‑driven architectures, and hands‑on Azure and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to navigate and modernize legacy codebases.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical work into business impact.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience at a product‑focused company (healthcare payments or similar domains).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
