Software Engineer – Backend & Frontend (Go, PHP, Vue)

About the role

MailerCloud is looking for a versatile Software Engineer to design, build and ship high‑performance backend APIs and modern front‑end interfaces. You will work across the full product stack, from low‑level infrastructure to user‑facing features, helping to scale our email campaign, automation and analytics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Go and PHP micro‑services for campaign, automation and analytics modules.
• Build Vue 3 single‑page applications from Figma designs, ensuring pixel‑perfect, performant UIs.
• Own feature lifecycle end‑to‑end: requirements, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate with e‑commerce, CRM and other platforms via GraphQL APIs, webhooks and data sync pipelines.
• Deploy and troubleshoot services on bare‑metal Rocky Linux 9 servers.
• Extend CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI) with linting, safety gates and automated tests.
• Contribute to ClickHouse schema design, query optimisation and partitioning for billion‑row analytics.
• Build and maintain AI agent infrastructure using Claude via the Anthropic API.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and retrospectives, and drive technical debt reduction.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of professional software development experience in a product‑focused company.
• Strong proficiency in Go (preferred) or PHP.
• Solid front‑end experience with Vue 2/3 or React and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of MySQL schema design, query optimisation and indexing.
• Comfortable with Linux environments (CentOS/RHEL/Rocky) and command‑line operations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Good written English for documentation and asynchronous communication.
