About the role

Headout is looking for a Software Engineer – Apps to join its fast‑growing product team. You will collaborate with product managers, designers and data teams to build and enhance features for a global mobile app used by thousands of travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship end‑to‑end mobile features that impact a large user base.
• Work with React Native, TypeScript and native iOS/Android modules to deliver high‑performance experiences.
• Participate in the full engineering lifecycle, from system design to UI refinement and performance tuning.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality and alignment with business goals.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of hands‑on experience building mobile applications, preferably with React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with mobile app architectures, platform guidelines and native module integration.
• Exposure to iOS or Android native development and understanding of state‑management libraries (e.g., Jotai).
• Basic grasp of responsive UI design, app performance optimization and offline‑first storage techniques.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and strong collaboration skills.
