Software Development Engineer – R&D

About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to design and build scalable, robust tools that support our machine‑learning, engineering and data teams. The role focuses on creating solutions for data collection, testing, analytics and data management in a fast‑paced AI environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement internal and external tools for data collection, testing, analytics and data management.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that serve machine‑learning pipelines and data workflows.
• Collaborate with ML scientists and software engineers to ensure tools meet performance and reliability standards.
• Integrate cloud services (AWS or GCP) and manage database solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
• Support front‑end components using JavaScript and HTML5 where needed.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment alongside ML and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and a major framework such as Django, Flask or Pyramid.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS or GCP.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis.
• Basic front‑end skills in JavaScript and HTML5.
