About the role

Join the team behind the Echo Show and other high‑profile Alexa devices. As a Software Development Engineer II you will help create innovative speech‑backed visual experiences for touchscreen Alexa products, working across device frameworks, cloud services and large‑scale data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new software systems for multimodal Alexa devices.
• Collaborate with internal Amazon services and third‑party partners to integrate features.
• Ensure low‑latency, reliable responses so Alexa never drops the conversation.
• Work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, and large‑scale data infrastructure.
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high‑quality code.
