Software Development Engineer I – Game Development

About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer I to join our game development team. You will work closely with product managers and fellow engineers to build engaging gameplay features and user interfaces. This role offers the chance to contribute to high‑quality games in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into clean, modular code.
• Implement gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and game features according to design specifications.
• Write well‑documented, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in game development.
• Contribute to improving development processes, tools, and workflows.
• Work with QA teams to ensure delivery of bug‑free, high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Go.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design principles.
• Passion for creating engaging gaming experiences and solving complex problems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑first environment and adapt quickly to new technologies.
