Software Development Engineer – EU Emerging Markets

About the role

Join Amazon's EU INTech E3 team to build the next generation of e‑commerce experiences for emerging European markets. You will work on greenfield projects that shape how millions of customers shop across borders, from local seller discovery to same‑day delivery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and operate end‑to‑end software solutions in an agile environment.
• Own full‑stack development for new platforms, inventory placement strategies, and multi‑store selection tools.
• Collaborate with engineers in Hyderabad and Luxembourg to deliver high‑impact initiatives.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, reliability engineering, and scaling of services.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Knowledge of design patterns and scalable system architecture.
