Social Media & Strategy Manager – Beauty Brand

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media & Strategy Manager to lead the digital presence of Contraband, a premium fragrance brand under Birla Cosmetics. You will create compelling content, grow our community, and amplify the brand voice across key platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies on Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and other platforms.
• Create original, on‑brand photos, videos, reels, stories and copy.
• Plan and maintain content calendars aligned with campaigns, product launches and seasonal trends.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimise content using analytics and audience insights.
• Engage with followers through comments, messages and interactive features to build community.
• Stay updated on platform algorithms, updates and emerging social media trends.
• Collaborate with marketing, PR and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
• Identify and coordinate influencer partnerships and user‑generated content opportunities.
• Participate in photoshoots and events to capture behind‑the‑scenes content.
• Manage social media budgets for paid promotion and sponsored content.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of social media management experience in the beauty industry.
• Proven track record of growing brand engagement, followers and community.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, on‑brand content across multiple platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field preferred.
