Social Media Manager

About the role

Springboard Digital is seeking a creative and execution‑focused Social Media Manager to join its growing team. You will work closely with strategists, designers, content creators and performance marketers to build and nurture online communities for D2C, retail and consumer brands on Instagram and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage Instagram and Facebook accounts for multiple brands, planning, scheduling and publishing content across feeds, reels, stories and communities.
• Engage with audiences by responding promptly to comments, direct messages, mentions and other interactions.
• Develop and run engagement‑driven initiatives such as contests, polls, challenges and conversation starters.
• Collaborate with strategists and designers to create content calendars and produce ideas that boost reach, engagement and brand recall.
• Monitor key metrics (reach, hook rate, hold rate, CTA rate, engagement rate, shares, saves, comments, follower growth, community response) and prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate influencer collaborations and source, manage and repurpose user‑generated content to strengthen brand‑audience relationships.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience managing Instagram and Facebook accounts for consumer brands.
• Deep understanding of how modern brands grow through content and community.
• Passion for social media trends, internet culture and emerging content formats.
• Strong communication and copywriting abilities, with a self‑starter attitude.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
