Social Media Manager

About the role

OLIVER is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the social presence of a top FMCG client. You will work closely with the client and internal creative teams to develop engaging, purpose‑driven content that aligns with brand strategy and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of social media executives, ensuring timely posting and scheduling.
• Oversee inbound comments, handle issues or crises, and coordinate appropriate escalations.
• Maintain and update the content and cultural calendar.
• Assist in planning content calendars and developing copy to complement visual assets.
• Participate in creative brainstorms with the Creative team.
• Stay current with platform updates, trends, and best practices, and share insights with the team.
• Develop and execute social media strategies that drive brand objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in digital or social agencies, preferably with FMCG brands.
• Flawless written English, including punctuation and spelling.
• Passion for digital innovation, pop culture, memes and internet trends.
• Strong understanding of content formats, platform performance and audience behavior.
• Experience with social listening and social management tools.
