Skilled Technician – Level II

About the role

The Skilled Technician – Level II supports manufacturing operations by performing a range of skilled maintenance activities. Working with limited supervision, the technician selects and uses the appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Health, Safety & Environmental: Stop work for major hazards, report incidents, use PPE, and promote a safe work environment.
• Quality: Apply high workmanship standards, conduct inspections, support equipment uptime, and feed data into preventive‑maintenance systems.
• Delivery: Perform preventive, corrective, emergency, and predictive maintenance; document work; maintain a clean work area.
• Teamwork: Communicate effectively with peers and support teams, participate in TPM activities, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Competencies: Collaborate, communicate clearly, focus on customer needs, make timely decisions, and pursue ongoing learning.

Required profile

• Understanding of safe practices when working with electricity and industrial equipment.
• Strong craftsmanship and ability to follow technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
