Site Reliability Engineer (SRE / DevOps)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production reliability. You will partner closely with engineering teams to build secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise AWS infrastructure for scalability, availability, security and cost.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with reliable deployment and rollback capabilities.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents and drive root‑cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate operational tasks.
• Set up monitoring, logging, alerting and observability with CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus and ELK/OpenSearch.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and, preferably, Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.
• Support data pipelines, ETL workflows and scheduled jobs.
• Maintain and optimise PostgreSQL and Redis environments.
• Implement security controls, backups, disaster‑recovery and access management.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on releases, infrastructure planning and platform enhancements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in SRE, DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong production experience with AWS.
• Good understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS and IAM.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker and Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Proficient scripting in Bash; Python is a plus.
• Experience supporting high‑availability, cloud‑native, micro‑services applications.
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
• Fintech or data‑intensive platform experience is a plus.
