Site Reliability Engineer II

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II to join the Business Operations team in India. In this role you will help ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of critical applications that support Mastercard’s global payments network.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the production‑readiness steward for Mastercard products, monitoring platform health and stability.
• Design, implement and maintain automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning and scalability initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site reliability engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
