Site Manager – Construction & Energy Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead all on‑site activities for construction, erection, and commissioning phases of high‑voltage EPC projects. You will act as the primary liaison between the customer, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own the construction/O&M site and coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager.
• Drive site performance to meet contractual deliverables, schedule, cost, quality, and Hitachi Energy HSE standards.
• Serve as the main interface with customer representatives and local authorities, supporting technical discussions.
• Implement and enforce the site‑specific Health, Safety and Environmental plan.
• Manage site budget, forecast costs, report deviations, and define mitigation actions.
• Oversee subcontractor work, claims, payment certificates, and overall performance.
• Collect and disseminate Lessons Learned across the organization.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager on EPC or high‑voltage installations.
• Strong leadership, hands‑on approach, and ability to meet customer expectations.
• Commitment to safety both on and off the job site.
