Site Incharge – STATCOM Project (Jamnagar)

About the role

The Site In‑charge will lead on‑site construction activities for the STATCOM project in Jamnagar, ensuring safe, timely and quality execution. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary point of contact for all site‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site construction work, adhering to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection, and commissioning teams to meet milestones.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors and site personnel, enforcing quality and HSE standards.
• Monitor progress, resource utilization and productivity; conduct daily review meetings to mitigate schedule risks.
• Ensure timely availability of manpower, materials, equipment and tools.
• Support testing, commissioning and hand‑over activities, closing punch‑list items.
• Maintain as‑built records, inspection reports and hand‑over dossiers.
• Resolve execution issues and obtain engineering clarifications for design changes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, permits and environmental guidelines.

Required profile

• 15‑18 years of relevant experience in construction site management.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent diploma) with at least 15 years of experience.
