About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Mechanical – Firefighting Systems) to support the Resident Engineer/Construction Manager in supervising, installing, testing, commissioning and maintaining firefighting systems for port, marine and liquid‑jetty infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Perform specific portions of broader engineering assignments and gather basic engineering data.
- Carry out detailed or routine calculations and simple tests following established procedures.
- Propose solutions for new problems by adapting standard methods.
- Identify discrepancies in results and provide guidance to entry‑level engineers.
- Execute work within agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
- Independently complete primary design elements for engineering works.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on fire protection systems.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of firefighting systems.
- Proven experience on ports, marine facilities, oil & gas terminals, tank farms or liquid‑jetty projects.
