Hydrographic Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to supervise and coordinate contractor‑led hydrographic surveys at our Pipavav site. The role ensures accurate data collection, validates survey results and supports real‑time updates for dredging operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the contractor’s hydrographic survey activities and equipment.
• Ensure accurate data collection and review data for completeness and accuracy.
• Validate collected data and produce reliable survey outputs.
• Coordinate with the dredging contractor to provide real‑time survey updates.
• Process survey data, maps and reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper documentation of survey activities and perform QA/QC checks.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in hydrographic surveying or related civil/marine infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hydrographic and geospatial software such as HYPACK and AutoCAD 3D.
• Strong hydrographic surveying expertise.
