Site Engineer – Building Construction

About the role

Nidhi Land Infrastructure Developers India is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to supervise and manage day‑to‑day execution of building construction projects in Mangalore. The role involves ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities on site.
• Execute work in line with approved architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly site operations.
• Monitor labour productivity, material consumption and progress.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, and embedded items before concrete pours.
• Control material wastage, storage and handling.
• Maintain daily progress, labour and material records.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and project managers.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience in residential or commercial building construction.
• Familiarity with local construction practices, materials and labour management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions.
