Single Carrier Team Lead – Landside Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Single Carrier Team Lead to manage a group of Landside Specialists and Senior Specialists. The role is responsible for delivering efficient, reliable and cost‑effective transport execution across the entire lifecycle, while driving performance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of specialists to meet operational and performance targets.
• Oversee end‑to‑end landside execution, from planning and booking to order closure in SAP TMS.
• Monitor service levels, process standards and operational controls, handling escalations and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Track operational and financial KPIs, ensure accurate reporting and governance across the portfolio.
• Act as the primary contact for regional, front‑office and cross‑functional stakeholders, building strong collaboration with Finance, Procurement, Customer Experience and Area teams.
• Drive process standardisation, productivity initiatives and transformation projects, including offshoring and system adoption.
• Identify automation and digitisation opportunities to improve efficiency and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading logistics or transport teams, with a focus on accountability and engagement.
• Strong understanding of landside execution workflows and SAP Transportation Management System processes.
• Ability to ensure data integrity, analyse operational data and resolve system or process issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience driving cross‑functional collaboration.
• Track record of delivering improvement and transformation initiatives.
