ServiceNow Engineer III

About the role

Anaplan is seeking a senior ServiceNow Engineer to join its Gurgaon team. You will own the daily administration, development, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily administration, routine maintenance, patching and upgrades of the ServiceNow instance.
• Design and develop scalable applications, workflows, and automations to improve productivity and data hygiene.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third‑party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Apply best‑practice configuration, leveraging out‑of‑the‑box features, Scoped/Custom Applications, Integration Hub and Flow Designer.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, cloning, and hot‑fix adoption while ensuring stability.
• Monitor instance health, performance, and security, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Mentor team members through knowledge sharing and example.

Required profile

• Approximately 8 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years on ServiceNow platform development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Current ServiceNow Application Developer and System Administrator certifications on the latest supported version.
