ServiceNow Consultant – CMDB & Platform

About the role

Vantive is seeking a ServiceNow Consultant to mature and scale its ServiceNow platform during a spin‑off program and ongoing operations. The initial focus is on strengthening the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and later expanding across the full ServiceNow suite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maturation of CMDB capabilities, including data quality, class and relationship modeling, lifecycle governance, reconciliation, normalization, and alignment to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Partner with infrastructure, application, security and operations teams to improve discovery, service mapping, integrations and dependency data supporting incident, change, asset, risk and operational processes.
• Design, configure, test and enhance ServiceNow solutions that improve service quality, security, compliance, speed and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain platform governance, automation, usability, maintainability and ROI‑focused road‑maps.
• Coordinate third‑party solution providers, ensuring deliverables meet Vantive standards and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience administering, configuring or implementing ServiceNow, with strong CMDB expertise.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business, technology, security and vendor teams in a regulated, global environment.
• Experience delivering solutions in large transformation, separation, merger or platform modernization programs is desired.
• Strong analytical, technical and communication skills, with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
