Service Engineer / Senior Service Engineer

About the role

The Service Engineer is responsible for delivering high‑quality service to customers, ensuring equipment safety and performance, and managing a team of technicians. This role combines customer relationship management, field service operations, and people leadership to meet KONE’s service contract standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction through precise communication, timely service delivery, and resolution of service and invoicing complaints.
• Ensure equipment safety, performance, and compliance with KONE quality standards and local regulations.
• Manage field operations costs, callouts, service repairs sales, and proximity stock content.
• Validate service contract technical terms with salespeople and support maintenance of foreign equipment in the LIS base.
• Lead and develop assigned technicians, handling performance objectives, motivation, competence development, and scheduling.
• Conduct site audits, investigate accidents, and oversee overtime authorization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in service engineering or field service management, preferably in industrial equipment.
• Strong ability to manage technician performance, absences, and workload balancing.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and internal coordination.
• Capability to handle safety incidents, accident investigations, and compliance reporting.
