Service Engineer – On-site (Pune)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Service Engineer to deliver on‑site technical support and maintenance for our customers in Pune. You will work closely with the service sales team and key accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and reliable product performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the service plan, including installation and startup of electric tools.
• Carry out annual service agreements and handle warranty, goodwill, and other customer complaints.
• Log all activities in the QCM database and meet target response times.
• Provide customer training to maximise equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with the service sales, project and sales teams for installations and presentations.
• Guide and assist junior service engineers and manage key accounts directly.
• Analyse failures, identify root causes and ensure safety, health and environment compliance on‑site.
• Support aftermarket sales with lead generation for AMCs and spare parts.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in service and maintenance, preferably in motor‑vehicle or industrial tool sectors.
• Engineering Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of English and at least one regional language is a plus.

Required skills

• PLC programming and automation.
• Experience with DC tool handling.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with handheld tools, fixture spindles, pneumatic systems and software tools.
• Understanding of QAT tools and IMS service processes.
