About the role
The Service Delivery Leader – Mainframe will join Airbus IT Mainframe Services, overseeing the planning and operation of critical mainframe infrastructure that supports aircraft production applications across Airbus core countries.
Key responsibilities
- Represent the Mainframe product internally and with external partners, ensuring services meet SLA commitments.
- Synchronise operations between customer teams and Service Delivery Partners responsible for mainframe infrastructure.
- Manage supplier contracts, monitor quality and performance, and report on KPIs.
- Oversee finance and budgeting aspects of service delivery.
- Support operation and development teams with troubleshooting, bug fixing and training.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customer services to continuously improve daily operations and onboarding of new services.
- Represent the Mainframe product in relevant projects and drive internal optimisation activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a mainframe environment.
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity and a passion for outcomes.
- Advanced level of English; French or German is a plus.
