Server Administration Specialist (Virtualization, Windows, AD)

About the role

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, you will play an essential role in maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure and systems. Your expertise will help keep everything running smoothly by proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems.

Key responsibilities

• Support Server administration (Virtualization+ Windows+ AD) operations across assigned technologies.
• Troubleshoot incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain documentation, handovers, and operational hygiene.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and OEMs.
• Follow incident, problem, change, security, and audit processes.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech/BCA/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience aligned to Specialist responsibility level.
• ITIL‑aligned understanding of incident, problem, change, and service request processes.
• Ability to work in shifts and support 24x7 operations where required.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of x86 servers, VMWare, Microsoft Windows Server & Active Directory, NTP, DNS.
• Operational understanding of server administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Clear communication for ticket updates, handovers, and stakeholder coordination.
