SEO Specialist

About the role

Pixel Studios Chennai is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with a proven track record of driving performance in search engine optimization and working knowledge of current and emerging SEO trends. The role covers monitoring and optimizing online performance, deploying SEO strategies and improving web visibility across platforms. It is a full-time, permanent position requiring 3+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports (Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools) and generate SEO performance reports in Looker Studio
• Plan and run on-page and off-page SEO campaigns, and lead SEO efforts for Google Ads while aligning them with PPC
• Optimize Google Merchant Center for product visibility
• Work with technical teams on technical SEO fixes such as site speed and crawling issues, and troubleshoot search engine and site performance problems
• Research keywords and optimize existing content and create new content using tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, WordTracker and SE Ranking
• Support SaaS-based B2B businesses by identifying and converting online leads, tracking lead sources and conversion paths with marketing automation CRM tools
• Create and optimize Wikipedia pages

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience
• Thorough knowledge of SEO practices, search engines and algorithms, and technical SEO troubleshooting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: SaaS B2B experience, Google Merchant Center knowledge, Looker Studio reporting, and console troubleshooting
