SEO Executive – Marketplace Platform

About the role

Join Forbes Advisor’s Marketplace SEO team as an SEO Executive and help drive organic growth for financial‑services content in the US. You will work closely with production teams across the UK, US and India, gaining hands‑on experience with a high‑traffic, revenue‑generating site.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the SEO Manager for the Legal verticals and develop editorial roadmaps.
• Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high‑ROI terms and phrases.
• Analyze competitor domains to uncover growth opportunities.
• Optimize existing content (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, copy) using robust content briefs.
• Compile backlink analyses to support outreach initiatives.
• Review existing pages for schema markup and other technical SEO enhancements.
• Monitor site performance metrics, including rankings and conversions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Proven ability in on‑page SEO: keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking, and content briefing.
• Experience with off‑page SEO and outreach projects.
• Strong familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO elements like schema, canonicals and site speed.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
