SEO Executive (1-2 years experience)

About the role

DigitalDC is seeking a detail‑oriented SEO Executive to join its digital marketing team in Bangalore. You will work on improving organic visibility for D2C and e‑commerce brands through data‑driven SEO strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Execute on‑page SEO optimisation, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, URL structure and image optimisation.
• Optimise website and blog content for rankings and user experience.
• Handle basic technical SEO tasks such as indexing, redirects, sitemap updates, page‑speed checks and broken‑link audits.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Support off‑page SEO activities, including backlink research and tracking.
• Prepare SEO reports, keyword trackers and performance insights.
• Collaborate with content, design and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Good understanding of on‑page, off‑page and basic technical SEO.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm changes.
