Senior/Principal Consultant – Process Optimization

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant to join its Process Optimization team in Hyderabad. You will work with leading industrial clients to design, develop and implement real‑time optimization, planning and yield accounting solutions for refineries and petro‑chemical plants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure Real‑Time Optimization models using AVEVA’s RTO tools.
• Design and implement USC Planning & Scheduling models for complex refinery and plant operations.
• Build Reconciliation and Yield Accounting models with the Product Accounting tool.
• Collaborate with regional consultants and sales teams to deliver technical solutions on time and on budget.
• Perform technical analysis, model testing, economic sensitivity studies and on‑site commissioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in refinery or petro‑chemical optimization projects.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to work across regions.
