Senior Transport Planner – Large‑Scale Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join its Highways team in India. You will lead design activities on large‑scale infrastructure projects, collaborating with engineers, project managers and client partners to deliver integrated transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse master plans, ensuring interdisciplinary coordination for cohesive outcomes.
• Perform traffic forecasting and analysis using advanced methodologies.
• Conduct thorough reviews of toll systems and revenue models to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Research and analyse transportation data to develop plans, policies and evaluate project impacts.
• Design transportation infrastructure components and serve as the design lead on transport‑related projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport planning for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Excellent coordination skills to work across multiple disciplines.
• Self‑motivated, curious and capable of leading design teams.
