Senior Technology Product Owner – NW

About the role

Capco is seeking a senior technology product owner to lead the ECDF platform for NatWest Group. The role bridges UK HR and PeopleTech stakeholders with the India‑based delivery team, ensuring the product backlog aligns with business outcomes and digital principles.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technology product backlog for ECDF, aligning it with People Business outcomes, HR policy, and Digital X principles.
• Maintain deep familiarity with the NWG ecosystem, including Workday, corporate SSO (Active Directory, PingFederate), security policies, and CTO/CDIO design governance.
• Operate within NWG assurance processes such as DPIA/GDPR, records management, security risk assessment, and design board submissions.
• Act as the on‑shore bridge between UK stakeholders (People Business, PeopleTech, Digital X, Architecture, Security) and the India‑based build teams.
• Make in‑flight prioritisation decisions balancing experience, risk, governance, and delivery pace.
• Provide strong stakeholder management and communication with senior HR leaders, architects, and engineering teams.
• Apply a cloud‑native mindset with hands‑on experience in AWS‑based architectures, APIs, and integration patterns in a regulated environment.
• Collaborate in agile product teams, working closely with Scrum Masters and Solution Architects to manage scope, dependencies, and delivery sequencing.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in technology product ownership, preferably within large enterprise or HR platforms.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑wide tooling or platforms, especially in regulated financial services.
• Strong understanding of HR systems such as Workday and corporate identity management solutions.
