Senior Technical Program Manager

About the role

The Coupang Intelligent Cloud (CIC) organization is building a next‑generation cloud platform that powers the company’s rapid growth. As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will drive large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives across cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, platform services and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic, organization‑wide programs across cloud infrastructure, platform services, AI infrastructure, reliability, security and operational excellence.
• Define program strategies, success metrics and execution frameworks that scale across the CIC organization.
• Partner with engineering leaders and principal engineers to prioritize investments, manage dependencies and accelerate delivery of critical initiatives.
• Drive large‑scale platform transformations, including architecture modernization, reliability improvements, automation and operational efficiency.
• Establish governance mechanisms, executive reviews, risk management processes and business reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience leading large‑scale technical programs in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems or enterprise platforms.
• Strong analytical ability to leverage metrics and data for decision‑making and outcome measurement.
• Proven track record of identifying root causes, managing risks and solving complex technical and organizational challenges.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage and compute platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration and cloud‑native architectures.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and AI/ML platform services.
