Senior Systems Administrator - IT Applications (ITSM)

About the role

Ryan is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator for IT applications in Hyderabad. The role analyses business requirements and delivers solutions using ITSM best practices and tools such as the Ivanti suite, ensuring ITSM processes are aligned with business goals and ITIL frameworks. It leads ITSM projects, keeps the applications healthy and coordinates across IT and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Ivanti subject matter expert, integrating Ivanti products with other IT systems and defining features and user stories with stakeholders and Product Owners
• Implement, administer and configure Ivanti Neurons and Ivanti Xtraction, and maintain ITSM documentation
• Train and mentor junior developers and technical teams, and provide end-user training and support
• Maintain vendor relations, troubleshoot and escalate Ivanti issues, and manage users, groups, roles and access controls
• Support continuous improvement of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Knowledge Management) and oversee the ITSM operational backlog
• Follow departmental processes such as on-call, change control, status reports and time tracking

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years as an ITSM analyst, application/business system analyst or similar role
• Proven experience with ITSM platforms (Ivanti preferred) and strong understanding of ITIL; ITIL Foundation certification required, advanced ones preferred
• Experience designing and implementing ITSM and ITAM processes, and integrations with third-party tools via webhooks, APIs or iPaaS
• PMP or equivalent is a plus

Required skills

• ITSM low-code configuration and customization, and Ivanti Java expression editor
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
• SQL and database reporting knowledge is a plus; intermediate-to-advanced Java or Ivanti Web Service Connection is a plus
