Senior Supply Planner

About the role

The Senior Supply Planner will lead the end‑to‑end supply planning process for a global product portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, optimal inventory levels and alignment with sales and operations plans. The role works across multiple time zones with customers, suppliers and internal teams to drive efficient material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly SIOP supply planning reviews and issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Monitor order confirmations, delivery status and expedite critical shipments, including drop‑ship logistics.
• Maintain and report on open purchase order and shortage reports.
• Analyze inventory metrics (OTTR, OTFP, DOS, ITR) and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
• Collaborate with SIOP, sourcing, logistics and customer support to meet service level and inventory targets.
• Manage material master data, PFEP and 12‑blocker processes, and develop liquidation plans for excess inventory.
• Identify and resolve material constraints, supporting procurement and engineering change activities.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen and other continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in operations, supply chain management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply planning, materials management or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience with SAP MM/E​RP and participation in S&OP/SIOP processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• SAP MM (or SAP ERP) module.
• Kinaxis RapidResponse supply planning module.
• Power BI, Tableau and BI portal reporting tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Knowledge of PFEP, drop‑ship logistics and inventory metrics (OTTR, OTFP, DOS, ITR).
