SPL Manager – Supply Chain Planning

About the role

The SPL Manager drives supply chain planning and execution for manufacturing and co‑pack operations, ensuring continuous availability of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role balances production scheduling, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation to support business growth and service delivery objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ISCP for daily scheduling aligned with demand and material planning.
• Secure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging to the plant.
• Manage third‑party warehouses, transportation planning, and cost‑effective deliveries to CFAs, distributors, and plants.
• Coordinate with Global Procurement and Supply Planning teams for production and raw‑material planning.
• Drive supply‑chain processes and efficiencies at plant and co‑pack facilities.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, design consumption plans, and achieve zero write‑offs.
• Ensure compliance with SOX legislation and global control standards.
• Support Plant Manager in strategic planning and AOP development.
• Monitor order fill‑rate, improve it to 95% across organized trade channels, and lead automation initiatives.

Required profile

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations.
• Approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience and 10–12 years of supply‑chain experience in FMCG, preferably food industry.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Proficiency in JDA.
• Experience with ISCP or similar material‑planning software.
