Senior Supply Chain Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to own end‑to‑end planning and procurement of raw materials and production‑critical resources. You will ensure manufacturing runs smoothly, on time and in full while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to balance demand, capacity and material availability.
• Manage global inventory targets, safety stock, reorder points and working‑capital optimisation.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Commercial teams through Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Identify supply risks with data‑driven analysis, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and allocate constrained materials.
• Design, test and deploy Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mappings for inter‑plant transactions.
• Coordinate Just‑in‑Time (JIT) raw‑material deliveries and work with suppliers to reduce obsolescence.
• Support SAP system migrations and upgrades, including requirements gathering, testing and change management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, inventory management, purchasing and production scheduling.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules.
• Familiarity with SAP Advanced Planning and Optimisation (APO) or SAP Business Intelligence (BI) is a plus.
• Proven ability to execute MPS/MRP cycles, convert planned orders and manage capacity.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting EDI flows for inter‑plant order transactions.
• Strong analytical skills with large, complex data sets.
• Business‑proficient English; APICS or equivalent certification is advantageous.
