Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Solutions

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a self‑driven Senior Software Engineer to design and build the cloud foundation for its industrial software portfolio. You will work on Microsoft Azure to deliver scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions that help customers reduce IT costs and accelerate digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure with a focus on scalability, performance and security.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver infrastructure and data solutions that meet business and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
• Apply secure development practices and support compliance‑related activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and implementation artifacts.
• Mentor junior engineers, review their work and guide them on routine issues.
• Own project deliveries, procedures and designs within the role.

Required profile

• 7+ years of strong software development experience.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with architects, testers and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high‑quality outcomes.
