About the role

As an Automation Engineer (AI/ML) in Technical Support, you will create automation scripts, support tools, and AI/ML solutions that enable the Technical Support team to troubleshoot Vocera medical devices efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Design and build internal tools and automation to support troubleshooting of Vocera products.
Maintain and enhance tools such as CAFI, ASL, and CI/CD data pipelines for log analysis.
Develop automation scripts to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Support, Quality, Engineering, and other development teams to ensure solutions are effective and scalable.
Document designs, product capabilities, and follow software engineering best practices.

Required profile

2‑4 years of experience in AI/ML or process automation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven ability to deliver high‑quality technical results on schedule.
Familiarity with Agile development, SCM, and code‑review processes.

Required skills

Programming: Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PowerShell, Unix shell.
Databases: SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, visualization.
Version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, BitBucket.
Backend frameworks: Flask, FastAPI.
Data processing: Numpy, Pandas, Apache Airflow, PySpark, ElasticSearch.
AI tools: Cursor, Microsoft Copilot.
Project tools: Jira, Confluence/Atlassian Wiki.
Frontend: React, AngularJS.
Infrastructure automation: Ansible, Terraform, VMWare.
Data visualization: Tableau, Apache Superset, Microsoft PowerBI.
