Senior Service Engineer – Zawar Mine

About the role

Join Epiroc Mining India Private Ltd as a Senior Service Engineer at the Zawar Mine in Udaipur. You will provide mechanical and auto‑electrical support for scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs across the equipment fleet, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and repair services to maximise equipment availability, reliability and safety.
• Manage preventive‑maintenance compliance, including backlog execution, oil‑analysis actions and CERTIQ reporting.
• Drive asset‑optimisation initiatives with customers, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
• Promote a strong safety, health and environmental culture in all activities.
• Lead and develop team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a high‑performing service culture.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams, handling conflicts and negotiations.
• Ensure 5S compliance, housekeeping and reduction of fluid or oil leakages.
• Uphold Epiroc values, support work‑life balance and contribute to business‑unit initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience using SAP in large contract environments.
• Understanding of equipment costs, CAPEX, OPEX and contract‑management principles.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering and maintenance best practices.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, planning and organisational abilities.
• Financial acumen to interpret costing models.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including report writing.
• Proven conflict‑management skills.
