Senior Security Consultant (Firewall, Proxy, Cloud Security)

About the role

A remote Senior Security Consultant is sought, based in India, with strong expertise in enterprise security solutions. The role leads firewall and proxy deployments, troubleshooting and cloud security initiatives, ensuring high availability, performance and protection for client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and troubleshoot firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate) and proxy solutions (Zscaler)
• Lead firewall migration projects and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Configure and manage IPSec VPNs, SSL inspection and packet flow analysis
• Implement URL filtering policies to enforce security and compliance
• Support cloud firewall deployments and integrations with enterprise systems
• Develop and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for security infrastructure
• Work with clients to analyse requirements and share security best practices
• Document configurations and procedures and transfer knowledge to teams

Required profile

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in network and security operations
• Proven experience in firewall troubleshooting, deployment and migration
• Excellent problem-solving, client communication and documentation skills
• Certifications such as PCNSE, NSE or Zscaler Certified are a plus
