Senior Security Analyst – Vulnerability & Threat Management

About the role

The Cyber Security Engineering Vulnerability & Threat Management (VTM) team is seeking a proactive Senior Security Analyst to enhance VTM solutions that meet business requirements. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Vulnerability & Threat Management, you will work within LSEG’s cyber defence function to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability of the group’s information.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to domain strategies, architectures and engineering artefacts for vulnerability and threat management.
• Lead smaller‑scale projects or discrete workstreams within larger cyber programmes.
• Develop indicators, analysis and artefacts to evidence control effectiveness and risk.
• Provide critical issue support for operational incidents and manage ongoing control activities.

Required profile

• Competent experience in engineering and operating vulnerability and threat management technologies.
• Proficient knowledge of operating systems, platforms and applications relevant to security controls.
• Understanding of information‑security principles, NIST and CIS frameworks, and adversary TTPs.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, TOGAF or GIAC are desirable.

Required skills

• Vulnerability and threat management tooling and integration.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation scripting.
• Security metrics development and reporting.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS and other security standards.
