Senior Relationship Executive – Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

The Senior Relationship Executive will lead Bajaj Finance's QR Acquiring initiative in the assigned territory. You will build the business from the ground up, hire and mentor a field sales team, and drive QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments to generate transaction volume and gross merchandise value.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate Field Operations Staff (FOS) to meet sales targets.
• Acquire new merchants and oversee QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers at retail outlets.
• Ensure proper channel coverage through FOS mapping and distribution management.
• Drive sales numbers, retailer payment reconciliation and store activation activities.
• Collaborate with partners on sales promotions and ensure process rigor and controllership.

Required profile

• Graduation or MBA with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to payments, FMCG or telecom prepaid sales is mandatory.
• Experience handling merchant relationships and distribution in consumer durables, digital or LSF roles is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high energy for field work.
