About the role

AlphaSense is looking for a Senior Engineer, Quality Engineering (QE) to own test strategy and coverage for product features. You will partner with developers, product managers and platform teams to embed quality‑by‑design and ship with confidence at high velocity.

Key responsibilities

Define and execute test strategies across UI, API and service layers for comprehensive coverage.
Develop and maintain reliable automation frameworks and performance testing suites.
Leverage AI‑assisted tools and agentic workflows to accelerate testing and debugging cycles.
Lead risk assessments, release validations and root‑cause analyses for critical issues.
Implement shift‑left practices and enforce quality gates within development teams.

Required profile

5+ years of hands‑on experience in software quality engineering.
Deep proficiency in testing TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend ecosystems such as React and Webpack.
