Senior QA & Product Documentation Lead

About the role

OMS Software is looking for a Senior QA & Product Documentation Lead in Bengaluru to own both quality assurance and product documentation across its products. The platform is compliance-critical and used by accredited labs, so QA ensures that every workflow, report and audit trail behaves exactly as the standard requires. The role is also the single source of truth for product behaviour across Sales, Engineering, Support and Customer Success.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement QA and documentation processes across OMS products.
• Review requirements (BRD / FRD / SRS) for completeness, testability and alignment with product expectations.
• Create and maintain QA artefacts: Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data and sign-off records.
• Build and maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix covering requirements, change requests, test coverage and releases.
• Perform impact analysis for change requests and align test and documentation updates with scope changes.
• Execute functional and regression testing and manage the defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, prioritisation and root cause analysis.
• Drive release readiness through Test Summary Reports, QA sign-off and release checklists.
• Develop and maintain product documentation such as module overviews, workflows, usage guidelines and known limitations.
• Develop and manage product FAQs for Sales, pre-sales, support and customers.
• Act as the single source of truth for product behaviour by working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales and Support teams.
